Buccaneer Diving was started over twenty years ago in Mombasa by Bruce Phillips . Bruce's love of diving started as a child in 1977 encouraged by his father who was (and in fact still is) a very keen diver and one of the pioneers of diving in East Africa. Fred Berrangé established the Leopard Conservation Project (LCP) in 2000, and together with other concerned citizens has had the privilege to conserve leopards in many different locations throughout Southern Africa. The Organisation was registered as a non-profit, section 21 Company in 2007 and is in the process of obtaining accreditation as a research organisation by the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Environment (GDACE) and the Limpopo Economic Development Environment and Tourism (LEDET). This will allow LCP to collect and process data that will contribute to the broader knowledge base of these exceptional and often elusive predators. The focus of the project has primarily been to protect leopard from poaching, poisoning, trapping, and over-hunting, however in recent years focus has shifted to include the collection of data on population and territory size as well as the genetic relatedness and diversity of leopards within different regions. LCP has captured, darted, collared and released a number of animals into suitable environments with GSM cell phone collars and now monitors their movements remotely through the use of cutting edge technology. Collaring these animals has enabled LCP to collect data that will contribute to a better understanding of how these animals are equipped and affected by the challenges they face.

The MAGALIESBERG CANOPY TOUR is a unique eco-adventure that takes clients on a 2,5 hour tour down the spectacular Ysterhout Kloof, set in the ancient Magaliesberg Mountains. Eleven platforms have been built against the cliffs and rock faces of the kloof and are joined by long steel cables that clients slide along to reach the next platform. Much like a "foefie" slide, the canopy tour essentially involves zigzagging down the kloof while stopping at each platform to admire the expansive views and surrounding ecology. The Strandloper Trail has been described as "the one trail where you can savour the feeling of solitude on an unspoilt beach and down a bar lunch in a cosy pub barely an hour later." The trail is almost 60 km in total and takes 5 days to complete. It is clearly marked with little painted yellow footprints and can be walked throughout the year. The best weather is between February and May, which have warm windless days. The Trail Manager will issue you with a tide table to assist you in planning your river crossings at the Quko, Kwenxura, Kwelera and Gonubie rivers. Include strong watertight bags and rope in your pack. There are braai places, water and ablution facilities at all huts, except at Cape Henderson which is situated in a State Forest and no fires are permitted. This is a one way trail, so shuttling is required - the Reservations Manager will supply you with a list of shuttle services.
