Dear Hampie and Suzy, From all of us at Seagull/Oztrail, we want to thank you for an extremely well-organised, well supported show this past weekend. Being our first ever outdoor show, we were impressed with the consumer response to our brands and the market feedback received. This in turn has gone a long way to mapping our strategy for future imports and ideas for design improvements. Information like this is usually expensive and hard to come by, so your show has really been a win-win for us all in so many ways. For the 1st show and Oztrail being a new brand in SA, we were surprised at how many people bought on the spot once they were able to see, touch and experience the tents and camping equipment. At one point, we had to bring out more stock from our sample range we brought up from Cape Town to supplement sales. One customer even insisted on us dismantling a show tent so he could buy it as we had sold out of that model! All the best and here’s a toast to a successful cooperation in the years to come! What a great weekend once again for the Cadac family! The Beeld Holidaymakers expo took place from Friday to Sunday and on Saturday night Cadac was awarded with the award for best stand – Accessories and Outdoor. Alex de Beer and his team has been planning on this show since March 2007 and they were building from Wednesday last week. What an absolute great honor to sit there on Saturday night and hear Cadac declared winners for the second year running! Alex, well done and thank you very much on a brilliant show! Your dedication and commitment is unbelievable! Your stand and enthusiasm, world class! For every one that could not get around to the show, you have missed out on the best holiday show, in fact the best show in South Africa! Make sure not to miss the 2009 show, as I was told by Alex, we are going for 3 in a row(HATTRICK), and knowing him he is already planning!! I am proud to be the sales director of Cadac, as we have the best sales and merchandising team in the industry!!! Looking forward to next year KOBUS DE JAGER CADAC The Beeld Holiday Show is the BEST consumer show for Ekurhuleni Tourism. Ekurhuleni has exhibited at 3 consecutive shows and year on year the show grows, as do the response. Due to the marked successes we achieved and the satisfaction expressed by the product owners we have secured 156m² of exhibition space in 2009. At the last show we had 6 co-exhibitors sharing our 89m² stand. Our aim during the show is to promote the City of Ekurhuleni as a business and leisure destination. We shall continue from previous successes and proceed to inform this solid target audience that there is PLENTY to do in Ekurhuleni. In 2008 co-exhibitors exhibited a range of “WHAT TO DO” in Ekurhuleni products and an interesting request emanating from the show was the need for Team Building activities. At the forthcoming show in February 2009 we intend to concentrate again on the products we achieved success with and again create a platform for our product owners to market their product under the collective banner of the City of Ekurhuleni. We intend to extend the participation by co-exhibitors to 12. I can only recommend this show and it will be good to have a GAUTENG pavilion where all the regions from Gauteng are actively involved. Let us convince “our” residents and visitors from surrounding Provinces to become visitors of “our” own attractions. Let us build on the Indaba success of exhibiting together through our other marketing efforts. Charl Fouche

So vaak is daar geen gesig as daar probleme of vrae is, maar Hampie of Suzy is altyd in die omtrek. Vir Motorhome-World is dit ons premier show, en ons het 4 motorhomes op die skou verkoop – ‘n nuwe rekord vir enige show! Target market is die woord. Hulle staan met beide bene op die grond, is jonk en vol lus en trots op die skou. Hulle is ‘n voorbeeld vir hoe ‘n show georganiseer moet word. Rosendal This February is the busiest month we have ever, in our 12 year history, had at Mosetlha (and it’s only 28 days!). We don’t really know why, but we’re obviously delighted. Bookings are good for the next few months. The special offer we ran at the Beeld Holidaymakers Expo at Gallagher Estate in Midrand this last weekend has done a fantastic job in maintaining this high occupancy rate – lots of previous guests came to take advantage of the 25% discount, and lots of new people are using this great rate as their introduction to the Mosetlha experience. The show that does it all. One does not often encounter such fast, efficient and friendly service as provided by Suzy and the organisers. Information is crisp and clear and to the point.
